Blessed are You, Adonai our Elohim, King of the universe, who instructs me to not do any work on the day of Shabbat. Whether or not my weekly, even daily, work is completed is irrelevant; what is important is to cease, stop, and be still. Thank You, my Father, for this time when my chores and responsibilities take second place to You, a time when my entire focus is on You, and Your Word. How special this day is! Amein!
