Blessed are You, Adonai our Elohim, King of the universe, who checks me continuously when I allow myself to become irritated. When irritation takes hold of me, it is because my expectations were not met; someone did not do what I expected them to do. You are teaching me, my Father, that it is wrong for me to expect others to meet my standards, for when I do so, I am operating out of the desire to be in control. Forgive me, Abba, for the wrong expectations I have placed upon others. And help me to be thankful for all that others do that is beyond what I could have ever expected. Amein.
