Blessed are You, Adonai our Elohim, King of the universe, who is revealing to me the dangers of a harsh, critical attitude. Excessive criticism has its root in self-exaltation and pride, an attitude that You, my Father, will not tolerate. When I turn my critical eyes inward, and examine myself objectively, honestly, and with humility, I see things within myself that I must correct before I can ever think about criticizing anyone else. Your instructions remain true: I must first remove the log from my own eye, before I can successfully remove the splinter from my brother/sister’s eye. Amein!
